Morning Update July 15th

Hey Everyone,

Like usual we have a range bound night in mostly everything. However we had some china gdp announcements, causing some upwards spikes in a lot of markets i.e. stocks, oil, euro etc. The euro is really trying to break out to the upside with volume and I believe don't try and fade it until volume starts to dissipate. For the oil markets and stock markets, we are pretty much watching yesterday's high and low. If we are going to formulate a move today, one of them should break.

Stopped Out Of ES Trade

Hey Everyone,

The trend has changed, we now have vertical conviction to the upside. Stopped out of the ES at around 1094. One thing I have to say is BE CAUTIOUS!

Thanks and make a GREAT day!

ES Trade

Hey Everyone!

Currently I am down $280 on the day, the markets are acting very choppy, being stopped to the tick etc. At this point I'm playing the market extremely cautiously. I am short the ES at potential highs, looking for a test and break of lows. I am short off of a high volume node from overnight. I'd give it a %50 chance of working.

Thanks and make a GREAT day!

Morning Update July 14th

Hey Everyone,

Looks like we might finally have some volatility in these markets, as we have a few reports coming out at 8:30EST and 10:00EST. For you oil traders, there is also oil inventories at 10:30EST. In the stock markets and oil markets, our uptrend is still intact as we are continuing to find value higher. However if you start to notice are of HIGH VOLUME on the HORIZONTAL SCALE being broke to the downside, we might be reversing. Here are the levels I will be watching for gold, oil, and stocks:

Dax Trade! Nice $600

Hey Everyone,

Took a nice long trade in the dax at around 6178.5, reason was we were testing an important bottom to the downside with buying orderflow coming in. The bar chart below shows my entry and exit, and the second image shows the buyers coming in. Finishing trading for today with a nice gain.

Thanks and make a GREAT day!

Morning Update

Hey Everyone,

Looks like we are going higher in the shorter term at this point, very ranging overnight session with a bullish tone. If we are going lower however, the area highlighted on the chart below is extremely important. If we have a large up day today, we might be in the clear for higher prices.

Thanks an make a GREAT day!

No Real Changes In Market Levels and Condition

Hey Everyone!

The only market on the board that had a move today, that I watch at least, was oil. Nice selloff intra-day in oil, and we now have 2 distinct areas I would be watching. I also posted the shorter-term levels for the stock market but my previous post I believe shows my bias... every market seems to be waiting for something, small ranges=poor trade facilitaion=big move going to happen HINT HINT.

Thanks and make a great day!

Markets Not Looking So Good...

Hey Everyone,

In the stock market right now we have:

1. Contracting Ranges
2. Declining volume on this current up move
3. A test of a very important high volume area
4. A very weak russell 2000

All these point to a possible high volume range expansion to the downside... HOWEVER... if we start breaking above to the 1080's, we might be in the clear until 1128 area. I at this point would be positioning short for a potential HUGE move down... As you can see on this chart, volume is declining, and we are reaching and important congestion area, right after we filled a gap (stops). Around these areas could be a good area to short some indices.

Thanks and make a GREAT day!

Out of Oil Trade

Oil pit closed, made $140 on the trade, breakeven for the day.

Oil Trade Update 2

Hey Everyone!

Oil came up and tested my stop, came a few ticks from getting me out, you can now see it is working in my direction:

Oil Trade Update

Oil tried to stop us out, but found some large sellers and we are preceding to move back down... hes a chart of what we are seeing.

Short Oil

Short CL @ 75.07 STOP @ 75.37 TARGET BREAK OF LOWS

Reason: Test of balance high and single prints, reward to risk phenomenal.

ES Stopped Out

Stopped out for a $150 loss, currently down -$133 on the day.

Short ES

Short 1 ES @ 1069.50 STOP @ 1072.75 TARGET BREAK OF LOWS

Reason: Markets seem very weak, breaking initial balance period low (1st hour)volume to the downside, range high, and russell leading down.

Short Out!

Got out of euro short for 1 tick, staying too long at level, stronger than other markets.

Euro Short!

Short 1 6E @ 1.2585 STOP @ 1.2599 TARGET 1.2550 and possibly lower.

Reason: Shorting a range high, markets weak, looking for volume to the downside... will post picture later.

Market Update July 12th

Hello Everyone,

Not an extremely exciting start to a new week. We are pretty much flat in oil, and the stock markets, with a slightly bullish tone coming in the RTH. In the currency markets, the JPY, GBP, and EUR seem to be the weakest, with the CAD and AUD holding up. The metals are pointing to a lower start to the day with a few sellers coming into the orderflow. The 1072 level is an extremely important overnight for the ES as the sellers held that level sunday evening. A break above that with the eurex markets following, and the other US markets, should see a test of Friday's highs.

Please refer to my previous posts for my levels and thoughts for today. No trades have been made as of yet.

Thanks and make a GREAT day!

S&P 500, OIL AND GOLD RECAP!!

Hey Everyone,

S&P 500 and Oil market bias is still intact to the upside. High volume nodes are continuing to move upwards and lows are holding. However gold is in a different place entirely. Any break up or down could cause an initiative move... far and fast. The currency markets are looking healthy as value is moving higher also, however the GBP may be a little weaker. In europe, we have been seeing much smaller ranges in the DAX and EURO STOXX 50, earnings are around the corner, they seem to be waiting for something. Watch the order flow in the beginning of trading in the US stock markets, any abnormal orders could be the direction for the day. Happy trading for Monday!!!

Thanks and make a great day!

Welcome To The Blog!

Hello Everyone!

My name is Julian Marchese, I am 14 years of age, and I day trade the US and Eurex futures markets. My history in trading "dates" back to when I was 8 years old. I had an interest in the stock market perceived by myself, my parents have no background in this business. Since I was 8 years old I developed my trading mindset, from a stock investor, to a futures and forex day trader. I currently day trade currencies, stock indexes, bonds, energies, metals, and european contracts. A typical day in trading for me would be day trading the eurex markets before school, and day trading the american markets afterwards. My method of trading is Auction Market Theory which has been working out for me for quite some time. I also use orderflow as a means of entering and exiting. I use marketdelta and esignal as my trading platform. You can check out an article on me from the Toronto Star here: http://www.thestar.com/article/695971 (it's a little outdated) or you can check my appearance on national television here: http://www.screencast.com/t/YjhkNTc1 .

This blog will be mostly a trading journal, where I post my entries and exits throughout the trading day. I will also post my thoughts on certain markets, my hypothesis' for the next trading day, and the occasional account performance.

I hope you enjoy this blog! Comments, suggestions etc. are welcome!

Thanks and make a great day!
